A review of data-driven smart building-integrated photovoltaic systems: Challenges and objectives

The smart building-integrated photovoltaic (SBIPV) systems have become the important source of electricity in recent years. However, many sociological and engineering challenges caused by temporal spatial changes on demand-side supply-side remain. In this paper, barriers traditional data utilization SBIPV system causing above are summarized. Data-driven was firstly proposed, including four aspects: Data Sensing, Analysis, Prediction, Optimization. sensing goes beyond technical limitations a single measurement can build bridge between demand- supply-side. Then, response under various environmental will also clear Analysis. Prediction load supply for is basis energy management. Optimization combination trading disturbed optimization field sociology. Furthermore, perspective data-driven SBIPV, technologies models, all features to make automated operational decisions explored. -driven requiring much greater policy ambition more effort from both demand side, especially areas integration mitigation system.
